I've always thought the sobriquet, boobs, was soooo misleading. To my mind a boob is associated with dull, lower than average smarts. But breasts are anything but dull or dumb. In fact I think breasts could give brains a run for their money. Especially the brains of men which seem to get drained in the presence of breasts. All of which makes breasts just about the most versatile, multipurpose body part a human being could ever have. Naturally, men's preoccupation with breasts is dwarfed by the attention, appreciation, and anticipation that women afford them which only makes sense. I was once asked by a teenage daughter of a friend of mine why, exactly, boys are so eager to get their hands on girls breasts. She clearly understood what the girls got out of all the attention but she couldn't figure out what was in it for the boys other than bragging rights. I had to admit her question stumped me for a minute. The best I could offer was that maybe boys were jealous and had a kind of "breast envy" that went back to infancy when they equated them with lunch. Nature, which is usually depicted as a female, is mysterious and forceful. The answers sometimes remain unattainable.
